Supporting therapists in growth & connection

At Counselling & Co., we believe that thriving therapeutic practice is built on more than knowledge; it’s rooted in connection, reflection, mentorship, and community. Just as our “village” fosters healing for clients, we create a collaborative, compassionate supervisory space that honours your growth as a therapist and supervisee.

Whether you’re a newer practitioner seeking guidance, a mid-career or seasoned clinician interested in exploring new depths in your clinical work, including reflective supervision, we meet you where you are and empower you to deepen your work.

Why Supervision Matters

Clinical supervision isn’t just a regulatory hoop to jump through. At C&C, we believe it is an essential component of ethical, effective, and sustainable practice. Supervision supports professional quality, ethical practice, and ongoing development

In our supervisory relationships at Counselling & Co.:

  • You’ll have a safe, respectful, non-judgmental space to reflect on your work, your therapeutic self, and the relational dynamics you bring into your practice.

  • We emphasize relational and systemic lenses, recognizing the roles of culture, identity, power, and privilege in supervision and in therapy sessions alike.

  • We support you in building your unique therapeutic style — while maintaining clinical integrity, ethical awareness, and client-centered care.

  • Through supervision, you will be better positioned to serve clients authentically, maintain sustainable practice, and grow professionally and personally.

What You Can Expect

  • We work collaboratively with you to clarify goals, reflect on your strengths and blind spots, and design a supervision plan that honours your professional vision.

  • We encourage an exploration of the “self of therapist,” exploring how you show up, your relational patterns, your cultural/identity context. Always linking it back to client work and professional growth.

  • We attend closely to ethical decision-making, supervision models, theoretical integration, and culturally responsive practice.

  • Our supervisory relationships reflect the same values we honour in therapy: connection, compassion, authenticity, and community.

  • We aren’t just focused on immediate case issues. We believe in supporting your long-term vitality, resilience, and professional development.
