Direct, inquiry-led therapy to bring unconscious patterns into the light and remove barriers to love.
I guide people through and out of unconscious patterns that cause suffering so they can live clearer, peace-filled, authentic lives. In my early thirties I woke up to reality - I stopped living by how I wished life to be and began seeing life on its own terms; that shift into radical self-responsibility and steady inquiry now shapes my clinical work. I am a graduate trainee (MA Theology - Spiritual Care & Psychotherapy, Martin Luther University College, expected June 2026) with a BA (Hons) in Religion & Culture, a Certified Facilitator of Inquiry-Based Stress Reduction/The Work of Byron Katie (since 2022), and I offer direct, warm, inquiry-driven sessions for children, teens, adults, couples, and families across grief, trauma, separation, addiction & recovery, and culturally-shaped distress. I am also the small-business owner of Lover of the Light - a practice and shop fueled by beautiful gifts from around the world.
Why Work With Me
I believe therapy is a deeply personal and collaborative process built on trust, connection, and the experience of feeling genuinely seen, heard, and understood. I aim to connect with you in a warm, open, and compassionate space where you can explore your experiences with honesty and curiosity, supported with respect and presence.
I am here to work with you to develop greater self‑awareness and investigate the beliefs and patterns that shape your life and relationships. I will help you strengthen communication and cultivate more meaningful, fulfilling ways of being in relationship with yourself and others. I support processing grief, loss, trauma, and life’s difficult transitions with acceptance, compassion, and resolve, and I invite exploration of your thoughts and emotions with curiosity, tenderness, and insight. I am passionate about navigating challenging family and couple dynamics with empathy and understanding; asking for help takes courage, and active processing can build resilience and confidence as you navigate recovery, change, and personal growth. I also honour your culture, spirituality, and personal values as essential parts of your identity and support you in moving toward greater openness, acceptance, emotional well‑being, and living in alignment with your true Self.
Professional Background
I am completing my Master of Arts in Theology, Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy at Martin Luther University College and provide therapy as a Student Intern under clinical supervision. I hold an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Culture from Wilfrid Laurier University. In addition to my graduate training, I am a Certified Facilitator of Inquiry‑Based Stress Reduction, a mindfulness‑based approach that helps people examine beliefs that contribute to emotional suffering. My therapeutic approach is integrative and draws from trauma‑informed, psychodynamic, experiential, relational, and Emotionally Focused approaches, always adapting to the unique needs and goals of each client. Compassionate inquiry alongside a client‑centred approach informs my professional outlook and practice.
My clinical interests include grief and loss, addiction and recovery, relationship and family challenges, spirituality, communication, and trauma. I work with children, youth, adults, couples, and older adults, and I value creating a warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive space where clients feel seen, respected, and empowered to create meaningful change.
Things I bet you didn't know about me:
I am a successful small business owner with experience building client‑centred services; taught English for several years on a small Greek island.
I embrace 'being the change' as a guiding value and integrate contemplative mindfulness and compassion‑focused practices into my clinical approach
I am a Musician (saxophone, piano, guitar, singer) with a lifelong love of lyrics and poetry, especially Rumi; I hope to incorporate experiential play and music therapy into my practice.
One of my most amazing experiences is backpacking extensively across Europe and North America with my therapy dog and guitar; I find renewal in swimming and have a longstanding fascination with whales, pomegranates, puppies, and the Aegean Sea.
