Registered Psychotherapist | She/Her

My approach is relational, client-centered, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed.
Hi there, I am Linh, a Registered Psychotherapist at Counselling & Co.! I graduated with my Masters in Counselling Psychology in 2022 and have been practicing ever since. I have experience working with individuals and families with a wide range of presenting concerns through my work at a community service agency in Toronto.
For me, therapy is a space for us to reorganize, reconnect and connect with ourselves. It’s a space where the presence of emotions and vulnerability is welcomed, so that they can be heard, understood and embraced.
I hold the belief that as we move through life, it's almost inevitable that there will be times when we find ourselves feeling stuck or overwhelmed. It's part of the human experience. Together, we can explore our family of origin and past experiences to regain our emotional balance and to decide what we take with us and what we get to leave behind moving forward.
Coming from experiences of marginalization myself, I am very passionate about having the difficult but much-needed conversations around how privilege, marginalization, oppression and power dynamics influence our lives and the ways we interact with our surroundings. I also recognize the challenges that arise and the struggles that we face daily to find a balanced stance within our own cultural identity while navigating through oppression, marginalization, and racism. My clinical practice is rooted in an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach, so we can explore these dedicated parts of our lives closely and safely.
My training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and trauma-informed approach enables me to provide therapy that is thorough, personalized, evidence-based, and integrative so that I can meet you where you’re at. In our work together, you will be encouraged to get to know and to process your emotions, so that you can gain a deeper clarity into your experiences and hold space to connect with yourself.
Why Work With Me
