Meet Your Facilitators

Stephanie Chimienti, Registered Psychotherapist

Hi there! I’m Stephanie Chimienti, a Registered Psychotherapist who loves working with children, youth, and families, because I’m a kid at heart. My journey began all when I was a wee little Day Camp Counsellor in my early teens, and from there, I knew working with children and youth was my calling to where I am now. I’ve worked in many settings as a Child and Youth Care Worker in therapeutic arts programs, day treatment facilities, and live-in-treatment programs, all supporting children and youth ignite their creativity and reconnecting with themselves and their loved ones.

I bring warmth, humour, and curiosity to help kids see the love and light within themselves.

The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work, and when clients feel safe and understood, they can open up, explore who they are, and let their creativity lead the way.

Catarina Martins, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Hi there! I’m Catarina, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and I spend most of my days working with youth where we listen, laugh, and problem-solve, and I help them make sense of the big and small things happening in their world. I love the honesty, creativity, and humor youth bring.

In my work, I focus on creating a space where youth can relax, feel safe, and show up exactly as they are. I’m all about real conversations, gentle encouragement, and helping them notice the strengths they already have. I believe that when young people feel supported and understood, they open up in amazing ways. Whether we’re exploring feelings, figuring out next steps, or just taking a moment to breathe, I’m right there with them. I’m excited to bring that spirit to Camp Co.!

Drew Watson, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Hello! I’m Drew Watson, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a deep passion for supporting children and families. My interest in child and youth wellbeing started early and has grown into a meaningful career across a variety of roles, including classroom support, elementary day treatment, children’s grief programs, and now psychotherapy. These experiences allow me to connect with kids in ways that feel safe, playful, and genuinely supportive.

In my work, I rely on creativity, play, humour, and understanding. I value helping children build important life skills, strengthen their self-regulation, and develop meaningful, reliable relationships with the people in their world. I also believe each child’s strengths, passions, and personality deserve to be at the centre of their care. Because of this, I adjust my approach to match who they are, ensuring therapy feels natural, engaging, and empowering.
