This postpartum support group is a welcoming and supportive space for moms navigating the first year postpartum. Held monthly, the group provides a structured yet flexible environment where moms can connect with others facing similar challenges and triumphs. Each session includes a combination of education and facilitated discussions about birth stories/trauma, healing postpartum, bounce back pressure, navigating relationships, back-to-work transitions and so much more! The group is designed to offer emotional encouragement, helpful tools, and a sense of community to help ease the transition into postpartum life.

The group is held at Oakville Parent Child Centre in their North Service Road Satellite location. Its an incredible space where mom and babies can get comfortable and relax with each other, as well as the support of the incredible educators at the satellite location. We gather together in a circle with toys for babies and comfortable seating for moms. Babies are free to snuggle with mom, crawl or walk around the space as they discover all the space has to offer, and the educators are available to keep an eye out for everyone’s comfort and safety.
